Having worked as a paralegal for over a decade I then qualified as a solicitor in 2011 from the University of Law, London. I've had the privilege of heading up and developing a thriving and well regarded clinical negligence department in a Greater London firm before moving to a firm in the City, handling multi million pound cases predominantly relating to birthing and brain injuries.
My pursuit of law and specialisation in clinical negligence is deeply personal. A delayed diagnosis of an immediate family member, resulting in their death, fuelled my commitment to prevent, where possible, others from experiencing similar feelings of hopelessness and unnecessary loss and guide people through the claims process with patience, empathy and understanding.
I am passionate about the work I do; from seeking justice for my clients and ensuring that they have bespoke care and treatment packages required to assist them long after the claim is over, to holding the NHS and private providers accountable and desperately trying to invoke change to stop avoidable events from happening.
As well as birth injury/cerebral palsy claims, I have sub specialisms in oncology (cancer) claims and orthopaedic injuries.
Compassion, care and understanding are fundamental in this area of work. They are core values of mine which I’m proud to say are values that are also shared by TSP as a firm.
