I have worked in East Anglia for more than 18 years, acting for a wide range of businesses, farming families, landowners and charities over that period . I advise on commercial and rural property transactions, predominantly involving: 1. Sales and purchases, including strategic land development; 2. Commercial and agricultural tenancies for landlords and tenants; 3. Succession planning, the partition of partnership property and beneficial ownership; 4. Diversification projects, including energy generation schemes; and 5. Secured lending/ financing. I was Called to the Bar (Barrister) in 2002 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2010. At that time I was the NFU East Anglia Policy Adviser where, over almost seven years, I gained an excellent technical knowledge of agricultural policy, farming and the food chain. Going back into private practice, I moved to a large regional firm in 2012 and have since been instructed by clients across Suffolk, Norfolk and north Essex. I completed a master’s degree in Law (LL.M) in 2005 and was admitted as a Fellow of the Agricultural Law Association in 2016.
