TSP Pleased to Support the Dream 100 Local Hero Awards

The Dream 100 Local Hero Awards 2015 are now open. Dream 100 are on the lookout for truly exceptional people in the North Essex community and Thompson Smith and Puxon are pleased to be involved once again this year.

Last Year TSP sponsored the Best Boss award which was won by Colin Fielding of Colin’s Chippy on Holland Road, Clacton on Sea. Colin was nominated by one of his employees who said “it’s truly the best place to work, he is selfless, caring, calm, never raises his voice and he absolutely deserves to be recognised.”

This year TSP is sponsoring the award for the Best Young Entrepreneur. We are looking for a young person or apprentice who has excelled in local business showing great aptitude and entrepreneurial spirit. So, if you think that you might know someone who deserves to win the award, you can nominate them online here.

Nominations close at 11:59pm on Sunday 26 April, so don’t delay, if you know someone who you think deserves to win the TSP award, or indeed, who may be one of the many other “heroes” that Dream 100 are looking for, then get your nomination in! Other awards include

  • Best neighbour
  • Child of Courage
  • Grandparent of the year

Nominations will go forward to Dream 100’s panel of judges, which this year TSP’s Marketing Manager, Nicola Crisell, is pleased to be a part of. She, along with her fellow judges, will have the difficult task of picking a winner in each category.

The Winners of each category will then be invited to attend a prestigious Local Heroes Awards evening, which, this year, will take place at PlayGolf in Colchester. TSP Director and Personal Injury solicitor, Steve Webb, will be in attendance on the evening to present the award to TSP’s Young Entrepreneur or Young Apprentice of the year.
