TSP Christmas Donation to Help Those Affected by Brain Injury
Headway Essex who provide care and support for survivors of brain injury, their families and carers throughout the County have been presented with a cheque by Colchester and Clacton based law firm Thompson Smith and Puxon.
The solicitors decided to make a festive donation to the charity instead of sending Christmas cards this year. Steve Webb, Director and Head of the Personal Injury team at Thompson Smith and Puxon, along with Julie Webb, a paralegal in the same team, presented the charity with a cheque for £250 at the Headway Day Centre on Boxted Road, Colchester. Steve and Julie are pictured with Headway Fundraising Manager Jo Hockey and some of the Day Centre attendees.
Steve said “Julie and I visited Headway’s wonderful centre at Boxted Road today. Andy Plowright, who manages the centre, was very welcoming and informative and we were really impressed with everything Headway is doing to support those in Essex who have suffered a traumatic brain injury. I am really pleased that TSP have been able to support Headway Essex with this donation and wish them continued success with the excellent work that they do for the brain injured in Essex."
Joanne Hockey, Fundraising Manager at Headway Essex added “We are absolutely delighted to receive this generous donation. It really will make a difference, especially in these difficult financial times.”
