Thompson Smith and Puxon strengthens its foundations with addition of new Associate Solicitor to Residential Property team
Thompson Smith and Puxon (TSP) welcomes Associate Solicitor Alice Brotchie into its highly distinguished Residential Property team.
Alice qualified as a Solicitor in September 2012, bringing 13 years of experience to the role. Alice is a stalwart of the Colchester community, having progressed from paralegal to Managing Partner at a leading regional firm in the local area. She obtained her law degree at Plymouth University and her LPC at London Metropolitan University.
Based in TSP’s Colchester headquarters but supporting colleagues and clients across both offices, Alice is experienced in all aspects of residential conveyancing including dealing with freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages, equity release, transfer of equity and new builds.
The TSP Residential Property team is a member of the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) – the mark of excellence in the home-buying process. The Law Society introduced the scheme to promote high standards. It ensures high levels of service and enables clients to recognise practices which provide a quality residential conveyancing service.

Alice was a Trustee of independent grant making charity Grassroots between 2014 and 2024.
