Thompson Smith and Puxon are delighted to announce that Joanne Kelly today joins us as a Director in the firm’s Commercial Property team. This key appointment occurs during a period of record growth for TSP as it continues to entice new talent with a focus on providing tailored legal solutions that meet the unique needs of clients in the region and beyond.

Based in the Colchester office, specialist Commercial Property Solicitor, Joanne brings 30 years of experience to the role. Joanne joins TSP from a Silver Circle firm, bringing with her a wealth of commercial real estate expertise which is set to benefit clients and colleagues alike.

Experienced in commercial real estate matters including investment acquisitions and sales for institutional and private clients, as well as development work, lease negotiations and real estate support for corporate transactions, Joanne has a wide knowledge of asset management matters, acting for both landlords and tenants in relation to office, retail and industrial units. Joanne has also acted for property investors in respect of property acquisitions and property portfolio management. She also has experience of acting for developers on the purchase of residential and commercial sites including conditional contracts, option agreements, overage and promotion agreements.

Outside of the office, Joanne was responsible for setting up a North Essex and Ipswich “Women in Property” group which sought to expand knowledge and inspire change for women working in property and construction.
