Planning Ahead for the Over 55s
STOP PRESS 26 SEPTEMBER 2016: Please be aware that due to circumstances beyond our control we have unfortunately had to cancel our Over 55s event due to take place from 1.30pm at Clacton Golf Club on 3 October 2016.
There may be little you can do to predict the future but there are steps you can take to retain some control over it. Find out more about protecting your family’s future - join the Thompson Smith and Puxon Wills and Estates team at their Planning Ahead for the Over 55s event taking place at the Clacton on Sea Golf Club on Monday 3rd October 2016.
There will be two sessions taking place. The first starts at 1.30pm when you can join the team for a light sandwich lunch and an informal chat, followed at 3.00pm by a series of short presentations, or join the team at 3.00pm for the series of short presentations followed by afternoon tea and an informal chat.In the series of short presentations the team will discuss
- Acting as an Attorney
- Making a Will
- Intestacy and Probate

Fiona Ashworth who leads the TSP Wills and Estates team specialises in elderly client matters and is a full accredited member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) which is an independent national organisation of legal professionals who provide specialist legal advice for older and vulnerable people, their families and carers.

October 3rd – 9th 2016 is Age UK Essex Age Awareness Week and we are pleased they will be joining us for this event. They will provide lots of useful information on the services that they are able to offer.
You don’t need to be over 55 to attend. Anyone who wants to find out more about Later Life Planning is welcome, regardless of their age.
