New Addition to the Dispute Resolution Team at Thompson Smith and Puxon
Thompson Smith and Puxon (TSP) is pleased to announce a new addition to the Dispute Resolution team, Solicitor Laura-Pauline Adcock-Jones.
Laura-Pauline advises both commercial and private clients on a wide and varied range of general litigation matters including; landlord and tenant disputes (residential and commercial), breach of contract disputes, consumer disputes, construction disputes, neighbour disputes, harassment and injunctions, debt recovery, insolvency, contentious probate and professional negligence claims. Laura-Pauline is also a trained mediator.
Laura-Pauline obtained her Law Degree (with French language) from the University of Aberystwyth in 2009 before completing the Bar Vocational Course in 2010 at City Law School, obtaining a ‘Very Competent’ and thereafter undertaking her Legal Practice Course in 2016 also at City Law School, which she passed with distinction Laura-Pauline further obtained her LLM in Legal Practice in 2017, passing with
distinction on the subject of risk assessment within infant personal injury
claims. She then cross- qualified as a solicitor having already qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executive (CILEX) in 2018.
Laura-Pauline says “Having worked in London for a number of years I am looking forward to the same challenges and pace of work at TSP, just with the benefit of being closer to home. I am also looking forward to using my mediation skills. I firmly believe that a willingness by parties to engage in mediation creates common ground upon which the foundation of a satisfactory resolution to any dispute can be built”.
