Leading Legal 500 Corporate and Commercial Team Expands Again

The Corporate and Commercial team at Colchester and Clacton-based Law firm Thompson Smith and Puxon (TSP) is pleased to welcome solicitor Caroline Nicholls to the team.

Having attended school in Bishops Stortford, Caroline studied for her law degree at the University of East Anglia before taking her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in London. She then joined a multinational law firm headquartered in London as a trainee and has worked in their Corporate Law team since her qualification in September 2006.

She has experience in advising clients on acquisitions, restructurings, joint ventures, private equity investments, equity capital market flotations and fundraisings, and general company law. She advises companies in all industry sectors and has recently advised on a substantial acquisition for an international company in the hotel sector. She has also advised energy companies, particularly those involved with solar energy; metals and mining, care homes and sport sectors are also key areas of work for Caroline.

Caroline is a fluent French speaker (bi-lingual) and in her spare time she enjoys playing netball and plays tennis and skis whenever time allows!

Caroline is very much looking forward to using her city law firm skills and credentials to benefit TSP’s client base who are regional, national and international and include single owner start-ups, high net-worth individuals, multinationals and financial institutions across a broad range of industry sectors.

TSP are also pleased to announce that Adina Milleare, one of the firm’s trainees, has recently qualified as a solicitor and joined the Corporate and Commercial team as well.
