Clacton Air Show Rotary Club Charity Car Parking
TSP is pleased to once again sponsor the Clacton Rotary Club Charity Car Park for this year's Air Show. Taking place on Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th August, this year's Show will, as usual, feature impressive aerobatic displays and a variety of entertainment over the two days. Last year the sun shone throughout the event and crowds turned out to see the spectacular flights. You can find out more about this year's displays and what's happening when here.
During the Air Show the Rotary Club of Clacton on Sea operates a very successful charity car park appeal. The idea behind the scheme, which has been running for a number of years now, is to provide guaranteed parking close to the air show with all funds raised going to local charities. Last year (2017) the scheme raised over £15,000 for local causes! The car parks were all manned by Rotary Club volunteers, including TSP's Sarah White, Wills and Estates Solicitor at Thompson Smith and Puxon, and Clacton Rotary Club member. Last year over 2400 cars were safely parked.
