A Warm TSP Welcome to Katie

Thompson Smith and Puxon are pleased to announce the appointment of Katie Latham as a Senior Associate Solicitor joining the Dispute Resolution team. Based in our Colchester office, Katie advises both individual and business clients on a wide range of Civil and Commercial Litigation issues including contractual claims, professional negligence matters, sale and purchase agreement disputes and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Katie completed her degree at the University of Essex, followed by her Legal Practice Course at Anglia Ruskin University. She trained and qualified into Dispute Resolution at another large regional firm and has continued to practice in Essex advising clients nationwide.

Katie has a particular specialism in Contentious Trust and Probate work, providing advice to clients on a broad range of claims including capacity claims, trust disputes, construction claims, undue influence claims and those brought under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975. Katie is currently undertaking her ACTAPS qualification in this area.

Sharon Auton who leads the TSP Dispute Resolution team said, “We are very excited to have Katie on board and part of our growing team. Her experience and knowledge will continue to add to our abilities to deliver exceptional service to our ever-expanding range of clients.”
