A Night at the Musicals is a Great Success!
On Saturday 12 July 2014 Thompson Smith and Puxon (TSP) Residential Property solicitor, Will Quince, delighted audience members with a show stopping performance at a “Night at the Musicals”. The show, which Will organised, raised over £500 for Help for Heroes and in particular the Heroes Garden Project.
Taking place at the Headgate Theatre in Colchester, the audience were treated to a variety of classic show stopping tunes sung by the organising committee including “Over the Rainbow”, Gemma Bush, and “Lady is a Tramp”, Rachel Johnson. Will (pictured with compere Karen Ainley), is an accomplished singer himself and graced the stage several times, moving some audience members to tears with his rendition of the Les Miserables classic “Bring Him Home”. ip Will adds “It was a fantastic evening, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and we raised over £500 which is great news for the charity! I have to thank all of the cast for their hard work and also the theatre for their support.”
The Heroes Garden Project aims to raise £100,000 to transform the outdoor space at Chavasse VC House, the Help for Heroes-run Recovery Centre on Berechurch Road, into a landscaped, tranquil area to support our heroes' recovery after being wounded, injured or sick whilst serving in the Armed Forces.
Will, who is Business Officer for Colchester Colne Round Table, is also helping to organise their next event, “Colchester’s Got Talent”, so watch this space!
