TSP Celebrates 40 Years of Service for Julia Hewett
On Tuesday 1st May, Julia Hewett who works in the Thompson Smith and Puxon (TSP) Accounts team, reached her 40th anniversary of working at TSP.
The firm celebrated her incredible long service achievement with a presentation from Managing Partner Steve Webb.
Julia has worked at the firm since 1978, starting as the Receptionist and Office Administrator at our Clacton office. During her first year at TSP, Julia began working within the Accounts department on a cover basis before joining the team permanently and going on to become Clacton Accounts Manager. In 1999 Julia moved to our Colchester office as a legal cashier and to manage the payroll, the role which she currently undertakes.
During her time working in the TSP Accounts department Julia has studied for and passed a number of accountancy exams. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Accounts Managers and an Associate of the Institute of Legal Finance and Management (AILFM).
Managing Partner Steve Webb said “Julia is our longest serving current employee having been here over 40 years and we feel very lucky to have such a loyal and popular member of staff. Julia Is well regarded throughout the firm and we most admire her for always carrying out her work with a smile on her face.”
