Water Leak Causes Problems

The Dispute Resolution team recently acted for clients who own a very expensive house in the Vale of Health, London. The property was damaged with dry rot, the cause of which was a leak from a drain pipe belonging to the neighbouring property. The cost of remedying the dry rot was considerable. The neighbours denied liability. Our client's claim was eventually paid in full by the neighbour's insurance company just before legal proceedings were necessary.
