Failure to Rescusitate

Child N was born with cerebral palsy as a result of the admitted negligence of the hospital where he was born. Child N suffered from severe epilepsy and died, aged eight, after the ambulance crew failed to resuscitate him on the way to hospital.

TSP advised child N’s father in the successful case brought against the hospital where he was born and also advised him throughout his case against the Ambulance Service Trust.

Speaking at the time, Child N’s father said “The settlement from the East of England Ambulance Service was never about financial gain but about the principle of the matter, because the ambulance crew failed to resuscitate N on the way to hospital. The case is now settled and it has helped me get closure. It’s in the interests of the public that nobody else suffers what we have gone through.”
