Catastrophic Personal Injury

Our Client, who was born in 1995, suffered a brain injury as a result of being shaken by their father shortly after birth. They suffered with spastic quadriplegia and severe cerebral palsy. They were represented by Steven Webb in a claim against the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority which concluded in 2013 with an award in excess of 3 million pounds.

Steve was subsequently appointed as our client's Deputy in an application to the Court of Protection and in 2014 completed the purchase and adaptation of extensive one storey accommodation for our client and their carers, and the investment of the majority of the fund, for the benefit of our client, on the advice of Independent Financial Advisors.
